Review: Well, I? Vi Pi and was fascinated. Now, is not there? Requiem for a Dream, and my expectations were very high. May be falling film, but in this case I was not? T be disappointed. Aronofsky shows not only that he can direct more films, he also shows how you can do it without a sale. To be more precise: RFAD is one of the most anxiety and depressive movies that came out of the U.S. for a looooong time. From the first scene to the final curtain it? And ... Well, a requiem for the characters, who are all perfectly portrayed his subjects. Ellen Burstyn is amazing. The power of his performance is only comparable to Bj? LCD in Dancer in the Dark. Aronofskys more experimental way than Pi and some of his ideas, as its combination of sound and image is really innovative and give you the musical direction of the film, without creating a long clip. On the other hand, we can say that this film offers no hope, no solution - but then would have been in bad compromise?.
