Review: I think it will take some time for the effect to where off. I saw the unrated edition Boondock Saints two days ago and I'm still reeling from the experience, which is unreal to tell you the truth. Frankly, a film written this sudden, acted, and directed is a rarity these days. Written and directed by Troy Duffy dives into the murky depths of the law, and the apparent futility of modern times, and how it takes two brothers Irish fraternal twins, Connor and Murphy (Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Riydas - both of which are quite convincing roles) to raise enough debate on vigilantism become media heroes. Issue Boondock Saints was sidelined in 1999 due to the Columbine massacre and the story of Connor and Murphy to be on a mission from God makes some ominous parallels why the Columbine killers, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. As the film opens in Boston for St. Patrick's Day, Connor and Murphy entered the fray bar, a pair of sturdy Russians and said its difficult to find them next morning in an alley in a pile of his own blood and guts. FBI agent Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe), appears on the scene to show the local police thing or two about criminology and theorized that it was revenge for the killing. Soon enough, two brothers injured waltz into the police station and claim self-defense. His Way after a night in jail (plus cathartic experience baptism prison cell) or charges filed. But soon, more bodies turn and Smecker learns that Connor and Murphy (third, David Della Rocco) may be behind the chaos in the streets. Duffys is bloody movie (most of the terrible violence spreads unrated special edition) with a completely different scenario, which includes 246 used F-word and assorted Euro-Irish slang, and has earned a fearsome reputation in recent years and has embraced a cult phenomenon. (This is easy to understand why, if someone is a fan of violence and bloodshed ruthless PS. Choreography action is so excessive style and they are almost reminiscent of the picture John Woo.) I can not believe that I stayed away from this film so long, damn it! Hours want to prepare for what comes next, and even if the action (which is quite small and, as already mentioned, extended unrated version) is pretty bloody sense of humor running throughout the slaughter and I fell out laughing more than once in this picture. Yet there is a sense of beauty and tragedy that underlie much of the action in Saints Boondock, and its completion will certainly leave a bitter taste in the mouth. Finally, I would recommend reading as much of the controversy Saints Boondock as one possibly can, will attempt po-hypnotic.10/10
