Review: This story takes place as the Duke, James Garner, reads a story about two young people in 1940, who falls in love and lasting life. Movies move between today and the 1940s. It has a structure very similar to the fried green tomatoes, which is also one of my favorite movies.Unlike Fried Green Tomatoes, and this focus on young love as it grows and survived the war and dissent parents. Of course, Romeo and Juilet key theme, but it happens and how to attract that special screen actors bring shape makes it feel fresh and not entirely predictable. This is a deeply romantic film. If you are skeptical about the whole romantic, timeless love and devotion to others, you may find yourself rolling your eyes a bit. I'm not cynical about relationships bind us emotionally, and I thoroughly implemented story.This is film so dearly. Characters are very human and love. All the actors turn in performances.Technically fascinating and compelling, this film is special, too. The scene in the opening credits is gorgeous. Editing is very good. Compelling story of the opening credits to the closing credits.My wife and I do not always share the same views on the movie, but we agreed. We loved it very much. I'm sure it will become part of the permanent collection of us.
